I'm Igrien, an autodidactic photographer and visual artist based in Amsterdam.
My creative journey began after I left a career in tax law, realizing that my true passion lay in creating. In 2015, I started as a blogger / content creator. Since then, I've had the privilege of collaborating with brands like Lancôme, Ruinart, Cathay Pacific, Ritz Carlton, Tommy Hilfiger, Zalando, Chanel, Moët & Chandon, The Set Hotels, and Bobbi Brown.
In 2017, I took on a role at De Bijenkorf, where I established high-end content for the luxury department and national marketing campaigns. During my tenure, I built a portfolio of collaborations that included Charlotte Tilbury, Gucci, Burberry, Moncler, Loewe, and Jimmy Choo.
In 2021, I launched Currant Magazine, a social commentary on trends in society and culture. For Currant, we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with brands like Chanel, Hermès, Cathay Pacific, and The Peninsula Hotels, among others.
This also led me to fine art photography, for which I received a talent grant from Dutch Creative Industries.
Looking ahead to 2025, I'll be launching Random Productions, a full-service creative and publishing agency, alongside Red Blue Collective, a foundation dedicated to telling the stories of the Chinese diaspora through the lens of 'third culture' experiences. These ventures will bring together everything I’ve built over the past decade.
I don't limit myself to just one role—my mother always juggled multiple jobs, and if she could do it, so can I.
