A Love Letter To

A Love Letter To began with the things I kept returning to.

A person. A place. An object. A ritual. A colour. A memory. Something ordinary that, for reasons I could not always explain, continued to hold my attention.

Each edition begins with one of these fascinations and becomes an attempt to stay with it long enough to understand why it matters.

Through writing, photography, visual research and image-making, I build a subjective portrait of the chosen subject. The intention is not to explain it completely, but to collect associations, memories, references and observations around it.

Part journal, part visual essay and part artist publication, A Love Letter To is an ongoing archive of attention. As the editions accumulate, they also begin to reveal something about the person making them: what I notice, what I value and what changes over time.

Where Becoming documents the process of making a life and a practice, A Love Letter To documents the things I encounter and choose to hold onto along the way.
